Selma Bacha was born on 9 November 2000 in Lyon, France. A French left-back for OL Lyonnes, she won four UEFA Women's Champions League titles and eight Première Ligue trophies with her current club. Her individual awards include the 2023–24 UEFA Women's Champions League Team of the Season. Nationally, Bacha played at the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup, and won the 2019 UEFA Women's Under-19 Championship with France.
