With this agreement, the Spanish club and the Brazilian forward have secured their long-term partnership, putting an end to rumours of a possible move to another club.

Indeed, English side Arsenal had shown an interest in his services and had even taken steps to try to secure his signing.

However, the 26-year-old winger will continue to be one of Real Madrid’s key attacking players heading into the 2026–27 season.

Despite rumours of interest from other top European clubs, talks between the two parties concluded with the signing of the new contract.
