Luis de la Fuente Castillo was born on 21 June 1961 in Haro, Spain, and holds Spanish nationality. He currently serves as head coach of the Spain national team. As manager, his major honours include the 2015 UEFA European Under-19 Championship with Spain U19, 2019 UEFA European Under-21 Championship with Spain U21, 2023 UEFA Nations League, UEFA Euro 2024, and the 2026 FIFA World Cup with Spain.
