Jonatan Giráldez was born on 27 November 1991 in Vigo, Spain. A Spanish national, he is currently the head coach of OL Lyonnes. As head coach of FC Barcelona Femení, Giráldez won three Liga F titles (2021–22, 2022–23, 2023–24), two Copa de la Reina trophies (2021–22, 2023–24), three Supercopa de España titles (2021–22, 2022–23, 2023–24), and two UEFA Women's Champions League titles (2022–23, 2023–24). He also won the 2025 NWSL Challenge Cup with Washington Spirit.
